    Setting the scene
    By the time the last soul break festival came around, I think I had 550 mythril. With FFT banner right around the corner, and all that Shout hype, I decided to save 250 mythril (or maybe it was 300 - can't remember) for FFT.

    But when FFT came around, and its banner was full of conspiracy, I passed. Ever since then, I've hoarded mythril, and only took breaks for the Nightmare lucky draws.

    This brings us to the current soul break celebration, and where the story begins...

    The only question is, will this be a rant, or an "accomplishment" (as much as not getting the short end of the RNG stick can be considered an accomplishment)? I am fully prepared to spend all 630+ mythril because... why not?

    Draw #1
    With my running average of 1/11 for draws, this is a good draw. SSB for a top tier character. I didn't really need two of them, and a different 2nd item would have been preferred, but better than 1/11!

    I wish you the best of luck! My personal experience on past banners has left me a salty old man. I'm waiting for banners 2,3, and 4. As much as I want Pecil's BSB, I can try for it on Rydia's banner1 where any FFIV gear is a boon for me. If my crappy pulls continue, you'll see me living in the salt shack.

    Good luck man, I kind of wish I had done the same with tactics. I put 250 mythril into that banner myself without getting shout (just days after putting 250 into the fest without getting sg). And even though I didn't get my two prized possessions, those two banners did essentially create my entire a-team and even my first two bench players so I can't complain too much in retrospect. (lightning ssb, Garnet ssb, Locke ssb, ramza medica, agrias shield, yuffie medica and rinoa ssb)

    I assume you'll be saving a fair amount of that mythril for banner 4 since you wanted shout so badly last time?

    That sucks man... no SG or Shout. :(

    As for me, I won't chase any relic. I'd like to spread it out fairly evenly, with preference to 1, 4 & 5, but we'll see how it goes. As for Shout, it works well enough as a RW. ;)

    Good call, chasing relics rarely works in my experience. I'm going to do my best to not chase anything either (Although with only 150 mythril I can't really go crazy on any particular banner anyways).

    I'm reserving my my vote and judgement until this ends. In the meantime, i wish you the best. You have my respect for continuing this far without the need to spend miths and even clearing all content at the same time.

    Lets hope for best of all of us when this festival ends.

    I remember last fest when I was excited because pulls on the fest banners would have good yields. I started persuading myself of which would be between FFT and the fest. This fest has been utter disappointment. By the first day all but 50 of my blues have been nicely places in the trash can in exchange for my 8th 4* Nodachi (X).

    Can't afford to get another Peacemaker, so I'm calling it quits on banner #1. A 7* is enough... Thanks for the SSBs, RNG, but I could use some variety. (Was annoyed, so I forgot to take a proper screenshot...)

    Draw #1: 4/44. It's nice to see the average continue (I wouldn't complain about getting more than one 5* again...) But this is not an item from my "want" list. Stupid magic based SSBs...

    5/55. More guns! Specifically FF13... Ah well. This was on my "want" list. It's an old one, but it's good to have native. And Sazh can use mech and support skills, so he should (usually) be my support character going forward.

    Well, I can't convince myself to draw on banner 5. So that's it! Bsb fest successfully ate my myth and regurgitated wonderful happiness.

    Then the remainder can be filled with any of these based on synergy and weapon use:
    Sephiroth ssb
    Agrias ssb
    Lightning ssb
    Gilgamesh ssb

    Other than sephiroth, the characters I have ssbs for are quite flexible in weapon options. :)
